About me

I'm a VFX Supervisor and former Head of Studio at DNEG Sofia, with a background spanning creative supervision, technical direction and studio leadership.

Over the years, I've worked across a wide range of visual effects disciplines, from complex CG environments and character work to photoreal integration and large-scale action sequences. What I've always enjoyed most is the process of turning an ambitious creative idea into something that works on screen - finding the right approach, solving problems and bringing talented people together to make it happen.

During my time at DNEG, I helped grow the Sofia studio from around 15 artists to a team of over 100. Leading the studio alongside my supervision work gave me a broader perspective on the business, from building teams and developing workflows to maintaining creative quality, managing client relationships and navigating the realities of production.

I believe good supervision comes down to a combination of creative judgement, technical understanding and clear communication. Knowing when to push for something better is just as important as knowing how to get there.

Outside of work, I'm a keen photographer and have always been drawn to the outdoors, particularly the mountains and the sea.
